cock a DOODLE DO!!!

This is a piccy of me and my bruv, Gary at my Mum and Dad's - I took it so because we were messing about Gary actually smiled instead of making his usual stoopid faces (yes he still hasn't grown out of that one!) I wanted to show it was Christmas but not make a Christmassy layout; Does that make sense?? Well the 4 strips are from BasicGrey Dasher papers....the cutoff strips to be presise, so just rubbish lol. The rest was just a lot of squiggles and doodles with my Sakura gel pen. And yes, it is a true 12x12 in the camera angles bent it outta shape - hmmmm.

I have finally finished my entry for Cara's CJ that I have been in over on UKS I hope she likes it! I found it hard to be the last in her book as all the other girls previous to me had done such a great job. Here it is - a mix of BG Sublime&Confused papers and tags...lots of fave stamps (Paperartsy, Stampers Anonymous, Hampton Art) All with lots of sayings/phrases on. Then I stamped the image of the woman on acetate in white Stazon and finally stamped here again on a tag in black with the words "Wise Words, Wise Woman." I like it :)

My last EVER cake order!

YAY - I've just finished my last ever cake's not the most interesting of cakes I have ever created (to say the least!) but it's done. It's also the end of "my" money so no more guilt-free squandering for me either, but I don't care. I will be listing all my equipment on ebay next week to hopefully boost the Aussie funds.

Just trying to add a piccy of a layout I created with scraps left over from the Scrapbook Sisters Monthly kit.
It worked!!! It's a piccy of my Grandad and Josh taken on the Woolwoch ferry some 6 years ago now. Hidden journalling says about the 78 year age gap between them. I love the fact that my Grandad is such a big part of my childrens' lives as he is such a special person to me. He is 88 tomorrow. Love you Grandad xxx

Well we have just got an email from our Agent in Australia confirming that they have our Police Clearance letters. I asked him what we do next and the answer... "We wait." So, that's it - all paperwork, forms, and money has all been handed over and it's up to the Australian Authorities now. I hope we won't be waiting too long for news.

This is a test post from flickr, a fancy photo sharing thing.

Gosh, it's 1.05pm already and I feel I haven't done anything yet today! I am trying to organise myself and have promised to start packing some of my art supplies away in anticipation of decorating and moving house. But I don't know what to put away that I won't need for the next 6 months?! Surely I need to access everything? The truth of the matter is that I am going to have to restrict my creating as Australia is our priority for 2008.

I've been tagged!

I've been tagged twice - Morag Cutts and Julie Wilson have tagged me!

It's a tag with a difference

Here are the rules:

1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.
2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don't have a middle name, use your maiden name).
3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.

4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they've been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)

Well I haven't got a middle name so I'll use my maiden name which is long!!

S - scrapbooker (Well I had to, didn't I?!)
P - Passionate about love, life and art
R - Red wine *slurp*
I - Ink. I love getting messy with my art
N - Never bored
G - Green. My favourite colour
E - Emigrating to Australia
T - Tall...186cm to be precise
T - Trollbeads are my latest addiction

And now I have to tag 9 bloggers...are you having a laugh?? I don't know 9 but here goes...
Cleo Jarvis, Julie Thornton, Diz, Flo, Monika Grant, Katy Darling, Pam Thorburn, Lynz, Tim Holtz (Well I can try!)

I will try and get some photos sorted out too this week - I have a couple of crackers from the 80's Party last night..naff rules.
